State Rep. Dan Swanson
First year local State Representative Dan Swanson of Alpha says basically his constituents made the vote for him last night. The freshman Republican says he understands many service providers in Illinois are struggling, but a 32-percent tax hike is too much for residents of his district.
Swanson was just elected to office last November.
