A board of directors being assembled for the Mercer County Better Together effort. The goal is to find representation from all parts of the county says Viola Mayor Kirk Doonan, who serves as president of MCBT’s Executive Committee.
The Mercer County Better Together effort was jump-started 18-months ago as the result of a $6-million estate gift from New Boston sisters Dorothy Looser–Flake and Roberta Looser. The goal is to advance economic development and further cultural and educational opportunities for the Mercer County area.
