An Alpha woman has been promoted to the position of 4-H Youth Development Educator for the Henry, Mercer, Rock Island and Stark County Extension Unit. Jennifer Peterson is a familiar face to 4-H families in the unit as she has served as the 4-H Program Coordinator for Henry and Stark Counties since 2014. Peterson graduated from University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Communications and a Master’s Degree in Education. In her new role, she will oversee the community clubs in all four counties, but will continue to work out of the Henry/Stark office located at 358 Front Street in Galva.
