The Mercer Carnegie Library getting some state help with its new building project. State Senator Chuck Weaver says the state funding comes from the “Live and Learn” construction grant program.
The new building is estimated at $1-million. Ground is expected to be broken next month with the new library open by the first quarter of 2019. It will be built in a vacant lot just north of Blick & Blick Oil.
