The Mercer County Health Department has confirmed that a mosquito batch has tested positive for West Nile Virus. The information from the agency’s Director of Environmental Health Kyle Lloyd.
So far there has been one human case of West Nile Virus reported in Illinois this year with 254 mosquito batches testing positive statewide.
