A large numbers of oak trees cut down at Oak View Country Club due to oak wilt.
The University of Illinois Extension planning a tree health workshop later this month in Aledo. Part of the motivation for the program stems from the disease that devastated a number of oak trees at Oak View Country Club says horticulture educator Matha Smith.
The workshop is Saturday, September 29th at 9 a.m. at Black Hawk Bank in Aledo. The cost is $10 in advance or $12 at the door. You can register online at web.extension.illinois.edu/hmrs.
