The Mercer County Family Crisis Center hosting a four-mile bike ride this weekend in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event is called “Break the Cycle” says the crisis center’s Marla Reynolds.
The ride will take place on the north side of Aledo, again starting from the Family Crisis Center. Reynolds says also as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month the windows of the Mercer County Courthouse will be lighted with purple bulbs each night during October.
