Progress being made on the new animal control facility for Mercer County. The foundation has been poured near the existing facility behind the Mercer County Highway Department, just west of Aledo. FurEver Friends for Mercer County Animals is contributing $140,000 for the new building says the group’s vice president Jerry Bryan of Sherrard with more funds being raised.
