The Sherrard School District elected one school board member this week, but they have two more openings. Interested residents wanting to fill the vacancies can download an application document at www.sherrard.us or by calling 309-593-4075 to have one sent. Completed applications must be turned in by 4:00 p.m. on April 12th. Electronic submissions should be emailed to breibyb@sherrard.us. Paper copies should be sent/dropped-off at the Unit Office: 507 3rd Street, PO Box 369, Sherrard, IL 61281. Sue Lyon was the only candidate running in Tuesday’s election.
