Not only is the Mississippi River high, but so too are tributaries like the Edwards River and Pope Creek.
That’s National Weather Service meteorologist Jessica Brooks. She says the Mississippi shouldn’t reach 1993 levels at Lock and Dam 17 in New Boston or in Keithsburg, but the river is going to get up there.
Brooks spoke with WRMJ Tuesday morning.
