Domestic violence calls are up 27-percent in Mercer County since the COVID-19 “stay at home” order went into effect in mid-March. That information from Mercer County Sheriff Dusty Terrill, who was asked about the issue at Tuesday night’s Mercer County Board meeting.
Also Tuesday night, the board heard that bids are being accepted for a new elevator at the courthouse through May 20th with bids being opened May 27th.
