Rapid COVID-19 testing can no longer be used by local schools when a student or staff member wants to gain clearance to return to the classroom. Sherrard School District superintendent Alan Boucher says the guidance is from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Boucher tested positive for COVID-19 last month and worked remotely while he recovered. He’s back in the office now.
