For local State Rep. Dan Swanson it’s not only spring legislative season, but it’s also spring calving season. He’s one of just a handful of state legislators actively engaged in farming.
In addition to cattle and corn and soybeans, the Swanson farming operation also includes two, 2,480 head hog buildings.
