The final deer hunting numbers have been tabulated for Mercer County from this past season. Youth hunters took in 6 deer; muzzleloader hunters 33; late winter hunters 108; firearm hunters 740; and archery hunters 504 for a total deer harvest of 1,391 in Mercer County. The numbers released this with by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
