New Attorney In Mercer County Animal Cruelty Case; April 19 Pre-Trial Set

Another continuance in a Sherrard woman’s 2019 animal cruelty case. 58-year-old Karen Plambeck also has a new attorney handling her defense. She faces five misdemeanor counts accusing her of failing to provide a sufficient quantity of good wholesome food to four horses she owned. An April 19 pre-trial is now scheduled in Mercer County Circuit Court. Plambeck posted $1,000 bond and was released from the Mercer County Jail shortly after her arrest in October of 2019.
