Aledo City Council Meets Tuesday Night; No Action Expected On Sullivan

The Aledo City Council will meet this week for the first time since the arrest of City Administrator and Police Chief Chris Sullivan. A regular meeting is set for Tuesday night at City Hall and the council will convene in closed session, but Mayor Chris Hagloch tells WRMJ that no additional action will be forthcoming concerning Sullivan. He was placed on paid leave by the city last week following felony official misconduct and misdemeanor battery charges being filed against him. His first court appearance is set for Oct. 4. Sullivan is free on $10,000 bond.
