With a fall of 2024 construction date targeted for the Northside Lofts project at the former Aledo Junior High, developers are starting to promote the amenities planned for the redeveloped site. Andrew Fisher is construction manager for the Economic Growth Corporation.
Currently, tax credits are being applied for from the Illinois Housing Development Authority. And Brian Hollenback, President/CEO of Economic Growth Corporation says construction conditions are improving around the country.
The plans for the project were initially announced in late 2021.
