New Squad & ATV Result Of Mercer County Crime Stoppers Donation

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department has a new truck–courtesy of a $27,000 donation from Mercer County Crime Stoppers.  Sheriff Dave Staley is appreciative.

Mercer County Crime Stoppers was organized in 1991 and Mercer County Sheriff’s Department detective Tony Baugh serves as the Crime Stoppers coordinator.

Crime Stoppers has also made a $6,000 donation to Mercer County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue to help with purchase of a new all-terrain vehicle. That’s a big help says Search & Rescue Commander Gary Heard.

Mercer County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue was founded nearly five years ago.
