A $19,000 check was presented to the River Bend Foodbank today. The money comes from the Bushels for Hunger program–coordinated by the Mercer, Rock Island, Henry, Stark and Whiteside County Farm Bureaus. Since 2010, the program has donated over $200,000 to the River Bend Foodbank.
