Testimony has finished in a two day bench trial in the case of an Alexis man charged in a sex abuse investigation. A verdict will be rendered to 55 year old Moses Anderson on March 20th in Mercer County Circuit Court. He faces Class 1 and Class 2 felony counts stemming from alleged incidents involving a ten year old girl in June of 2015. He originally entered an “Alford” plea to a lesser Class A misdemeanor charge in March of 2016, but was allowed to withdraw that plea three months later. Anderson remains free on $50,000 bond.
