Mercer County teachers and staff will be holding a car parade for their students on Friday, April 3rd, starting at 4 p.m. in Aledo and continuing to Seaton, Joy, New Boston, and Keithsburg. This will be a fun way for teachers, staff, and students to be able to reach out and connect while still practicing social distancing. A Facebook page called Mercer County School Support has been created for this event. It will have updated routes and times posted. Rural families are encouraged to come join in on the fun and watch from the comfort of their car.
