Western Illinois University continues to promote dual enrollment opportunities for local high school students.
Western’s Dual Enrollment program offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to enroll in college-level courses, including a variety of classes that count toward WIU general education requirements. Courses are available on campus, online and some classes meet on site at partner high schools. And students who take part in WIU’s program, beginning in Spring 2021, will have new opportunities that make the program even more accessible says Kristi Mindrup, administrator of the WIU-Quad Cities campus and assistant vice president of WIU-QC Academic Affairs.
Dual Enrollment virtual information sessions will be held at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11, Nov. 18 and Dec. 9. Students can register at wiu.edu/highschool.
