Area high school baseball and softball teams wrapped up their regular season with regional play set to begin today. Mercer County and Sherrard both posted wins in baseball. Mercer County dropped a double header to West Central in softball while Rockridge and Sherrard both won their regular season finales. In soccer, Orion-Sherrard’s season ended with a loss in the first match of the regional.
