Mercer County High School sending a letter of interest to the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) with hopes of attending the January conference meeting. Principal Andrea Cooper updated the Unit 404 Board of Education Wednesday night.
Currently, the TRAC is split in two divisions with Rockridge, Sherrard, Orion, Monmouth-Roseville, Riverdale, Morrison and Erie-Prophetstown on one side and Princeton, St. Bede, Hall, Newman Central Catholic, Kewanee, Mendota and Bureau Valley on the other side. St. Bede is leaving the conference at the end of the year.
