One person is dead following a late Tuesday morning UTV accident in Henderson County. The driver had been ejected from the vehicle after it rolled from the roadway into a cornfield, according to a Henderson County Sheriff’s Department press release. The mishap occurred just after 11 a.m. in rural Gladstone. The driver was pronounced deceased at an area hospital.
The passenger was wearing a seatbelt and was able to free themselves from the UTV following the crash. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Names have not been released.
