Sherrard will host Rockridge in boys basketball Friday night with first place in the TRAC West on the line.
The Rockets (17-3, 8-0 TRAC West) are #8 in this week’s 2A IHSA boys basketball AP poll. Rockridge beat Sherrard (16-3, 5-1 TRAC West), 47-31, back on December 8.
Rockridge’s three losses are to Moline (#10 in 4A), Illini Bluffs (#3 in 1A), and Bloomington Central Catholic. Aside from Rockridge, Sherrard has lost to Byron (#4 in 2A) and Manual (#2 in 2A).
