A central Illinois man sustains serious injuries following an accident on Interstate 74 near Galesburg. The mishap occurred Monday morning. Illinois State Police say 84 year old James J. Pfab of El Paso was heading east bound when he lost control of his truck-tractor semi-trailer combination, causing it to cross the median and overturn. West bound lanes of I-74 were shut down a few hours with eastbound lanes shutdown through early Monday afternoon. Pfab was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
