The Aledo Police Department will continue to participate in the Mercer-Henry County Major Crimes Task Force. The effort was created three years ago says Aledo Police Chief Chris Sullivan.
The task force was used to investigate an officer involved shooting involving a Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputy last year.
