A pre-trial conference has been continued to next month for an Aledo man facing ten felony sex abuse/sex assault counts. 44 year old Michael E. Daniels will be back in Mercer County Circuit Court on August 1st. He’s facing three Class X felonies, three Class 1 felonies and four Class 2 felonies in connection with alleged incidents involving a child under the age of 13. Class X felonies are punishable by 6-to-30 years in prison upon conviction. Daniels was released from the Mercer County Jail last month after posting ten-percent of his $150,000 bond.
