The Mercer County VFW hosted a Veterans Day service Thursday morning. The featured speaker was Maj. Kyle Wade. On the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Wade says it’s important to remember the sacrifices all veterans have made.
Wade is currently a Logistics Operation Officer at the Rock Island Arsenal. He served in Afghanistan in 2012.
