An Aledo youth earning statewide recognition. Hallee Kammerman is receiving a “Yes I Can!” Award from the Illinois Council for Exceptional Children. She will be honored later this year at an event in Naperville. Hallee is a 5th grader at Apollo Elementary. She has overcome living with Spina Bifida to excel in school. National Spina Bifida Day is October 25th.
