They called it “The Most Amazing Harvest” and Aledo artist Michael Clark documented the event with a mural in Galva. The story involved a group of farmers coming together to harvest the crop of cancer stricken farmer Carl Bates in September of 2015. He would die in November of that year.
The mural was finished on Saturday. It’s located along Illinois Route 17.
