Judge Peter Church denied a request for a bond modification for Mark Artcher in Mercer County Circuit court this morning. Judge Church did reserve the right to make a ruling at a later date. A date will be set for a pre-trial conference through court administration within a 45 day period. Artcher faces a Class X felony of criminal sexual abuse of a child and two Class 2 felonies of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Artcher has remained free on $100,000 bond.
