Big Time Architect Grew Up In Matherville & Graduated From Sherrard High School

The Mercer County Historical Society highlighting the impressive career of a local architect. Lonn Frye grew up in Matherville and went on to do big things—working on private mansions and even the John Hancock building. He’s also credited with saving and refurbishing over 50 Carnegie library buildings throughout the United States. Essley-Noble Museum curator Shannon Boynton documented his work in the recent historical society newsletter.
