Shelby Bowman scored 41 points to lead West Central (12-5, 6-0 LTC) past Mercer County (10-10, 3-3 LTC), 65-60 Monday.
The Heat opened both halves on 14-0 runs. Mercer County held a 33-29 lead at halftime and the Golden Eagles had a 57-55 advantage in the fourth quarter. West Central closed the game on a 10-3 run to secure the win.
Addie Seitz was also in double figures for the Heat with 11 points.
Molly Hofmann led Mercer County with 19 points. Sydney Lamkin was also in double figures with 11.
