Orion (33-3) defeated Sherrard (28-8-1) in straight sets Thursday to win a regional championship, 25-14, 25-21. The Chargers went 3-0 against the Tigers this season. Orion advances to next week’s 2A Princeton Sectional, where the Chargers will take on IVC in the semifinal round Monday.
