A fundraising event planned for Sunday (Oct. 10) to benefit former Rockridge golf coach Blaine Kernan. He was injured in an accident in Kentucky last June. Susan Langan is helping promote the fundraiser.
Donations can also be made at Midwest Bank, Aledo, Andalusia, and Moline branches. The list of silent auction prizes also includes two tickets to a Chicago Bears game and four beef quarters with processing credit. There will also be items for purchase including huge fall mums from Hilltop Greenhouse in Illinois City, artwork has been donated for sale, t-shirts, coffee mugs and at least 60 baskets to raffle off.
