Illinois State Police announcing results of a special Scott’s Law/Move Over detail during June in Henry, Knox and Rock Island counties. These patrols allowed troopers to focus on violations in relation to failing to yield to stationary emergency vehicles or improper passing of emergency vehicles. A total of 27 Scott’s Law violations were issued in the three counties during the June enforcement.
Statewide, more than 20 ISP squad cars have already been hit in 2019 and two state troopers have died as a result of the crashes.
