The Mercer County Golden Eagles post season run came to an abrupt halt as they lost to the host Princeton Tigers in the Class 2A Princeton Regional semi-finals. Mercer County ends their campaign at 21-12, setting the record for most wins for a Mercer County team. Orion ran their record to 34-1 with a win over Kewanee in the other semi-final.
