Mercer County topped United and remained in the Lincoln Trail Conference softball race Monday night. West Central was also a winner and the Heat maintained their one game lead. The two are scheduled to meet Thursday for a doubleheader. Sherrard topped Ridgewood to highlight the baseball action.
