Mercer County hung tough with Ridgewood for three quarters but the Spartans pulled away in the fourth quarter to pick up a Lincoln Trail Conference win. Rockridge and Sherrard were on the road in non-conference action with the Rockets topping Alleman and the Tigers falling at Monmouth.
