The Mercer County girls golf team shot their lowest score of the young season in winning at quadrangular at Hawthorn Ridge. The Golden Eagles fired a 187, Mid-County a 220, Princeville 221 and Williamsfield 241. Mercer County’s Mia Hillyer and Kristina Snowden were co-medalists with 44’s. At Kewanee Dunes Kewanee lead the way with a 210, United 239 and Annawan-Wethersfield 201.
In boys golf, Ridgewood beat Rockridge 171 to 176 at Valley View. Tom Bumann was the medalist with a 39. United won at Kewanee Dunes. The Red Storm shot 181, Kewanee 186 and Annawan-Wethersfield 201. Drew Brown of United was the medalist with a 37.
