The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department announces the arrest of a man for failing to register as a sex offender. 36-year-old Robert Lee McCoy was extradited from the Scott County Jail on Wednesday. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail on $50,000 bond.
Also Wednesday, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department arrested 26-year-old Taylor Conlin at her residence in New Boston on a Muscatine County warrant for a probation violation on a theft charge. She is in the Mercer County Jail awaiting extradition to Muscatine County.
