A local bank again supporting local 4-H. Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois recently donated $4,200 to fourteen area 4-H groups for the purpose of supporting youth in agriculture. These 4-H clubs each received $300 from Farmers State Bank:

  1. Alexis All Stars 4-H Club
  2. Country Kids 4-H Club
  3. Creative Kids 4-H Club
  4. Hamlet Handy Helpers
  5. Joy-Eliza Ag
  6. Kimel
  7. Lynox Loyals 4-H Club
  8. Mercer County 4-H Dog Club
  9. Peppy Partners
  10. Rio Livestock 4-H Club
  11. Saddle Teens 4-H Club
  12. Sherrard 4-H Club
  13. Teen Federation 4-H Club

The Friends of 4-H – Mercer County Fair was also a recipient of a $300 gift. The donations are meant to support programs for young people to learn real-world skills that will prepare them for the challenges of today and tomorrow.
