One man dead and two children injured following a UTV accident in Warren County. According to an Illinois State Police media release, the deceased is identified as 42-year-old Troy Simkins from Abingdon. Troopers say he was traveling at 130th Avenue westbound near 170th Street when he lost control of the vehicle on Monday afternoon. The UTV left the roadway, struck a ditch and flipped several times. Simkins along with a 10-year-old passenger were ejected. The 10-year-old was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. A 7-year-old passenger was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
