The City of Aledo will be flushing all fire hydrants within its district the rest of August and September. The city will be divided into east/west sections says Public Works director Justin Blaser.
Once all the hydrants have been flushed in a section, city crew members will move on to the next. Time schedules are tentative, depending on the number hydrants per section. Flushing may require longer or shorter time frames. The city will actively be updating its progress and for more information you can go to the city’s web site, www.aledoil.org, tune in to WRMJ or call city hall at 582-7421.
