There’s been a buyer for the former Casey’s site in Aledo. The item was mentioned at Monday night’s Aledo City Council meeting. But the identity of buyer not known at this time says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
A new pay scale went into effect August 14 for Aledo police officers, which reflects around a 16-percent raise. Welcome news for the department says interim police chief Trevor Fisk.
Also Monday night, the council unanimously approved the appointments of new members – Carmen Ruh and Noel Bush. Both are filling vacancies.
And fall clean-up days are set for the week of Oct. 16.
