Mercer County (13-6, 4-0 LTC) defeated A-Town (9-11, 2-2 LTC) on the road Thursday, 59-33.
The Golden Eagles led 24-19 at halftime but outscored A-Town 35-14 in the second half to cruise to the win. Mercer County forced the Tornadoes to commit 14 turnovers in the second half.
Lucas Collison led all scorers in the game with 18 points. Jude Hofmann added 12 points in the win for the Golden Eagles. William Fredrickson, 11 points, and Colby Cox, 10 points, were also in double figured for Mercer County.
Kellen Hook scored 11 points to lead A-Town.
