An individual who has played a key role in promoting the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities will be the featured speaker at this weekend’s Aledo Exchange Club “One Nation Under God” breakfast. Former KWQC-TV anchor Gary Metivier says he’s honored by the opportunity.
The breakfast is 7 a.m. Saturday at the Mercer County VFW. Proceeds are split between the VFW and VFW Auxiliary. This marks the 40th year for the breakfast.
