The Illinois Department of Natural Resources offering another local hunter safety education course. The latest one is April 6 & 7 from Noon to 5 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Keithsburg. All hunters born on or after January 1, 1980, must successfully complete the course before they can receive their first hunting license says instructor Allen Henshaw.
Henshaw has been involved in the hunter education safety course for over 40 years. To register for the April 6 & 7 session call 374-2571. The class is free.
